!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I was about 30 seconds behind the car in this video (according to the timestamp) this morning, and spotted the ducks crossing the rightmost lane, blocking traffic in that lane. I saw the orange Vue parked up in the left lane, and I have no other details from my view. this person is lucky they did not get in a situation like the previous time this was in the news.

Also, found these in the search for images to lighten things up. Not of incident, but have Jalop cred.

It’s one thing to do on a city street where traffic is moving slower to begin with. It’s entirely another to stop on a high speed roadway. Sorry duckies, but that’s life. Or the end of it. Or something. I won’t try to dodge squirrels either, sorry in advance mr squirrel but when it’s your time it’s not my time.

Am I the only one who thinks the motorcyclist in the “other” duck incident was following to close? I’ve rode bikes “obviously, in my profile pic.” And I’ve went off the said bike and various other stupid things many my fault. But I always slowed down early in traffic and drifted waaay behind. Slowed down early because, well bikes don’t stop that fast, and gives you more time to watch traffic behind yourself to see if they’re paying attention to my slow ass or just passing me (even though we’re both approaching a stop)

The motorcycle’s speed was not a factor in what caused the accident, according to the jury.

However, I’m not sure how much more a larger distance would have helped.

I didn’t say anything about speed. Just wonder how close was he following. My rule of thumb was always stay as far back as possible, If I couldn’t come to a stop from the speed I was carrying to where the vehicle in front of me was (if by some miracle it stopped on a dime”, I was too close.

I honestly wouldn’t know how far, I don’t see any details on how it happened.

I am aware.

I’m not sure how far back the bike was, don’t think I saw a breakdown for the accident.
